Hey guys, in today’s video we are going to learn how to add the xDAI network into your MetaMask wallet.
To add xDAI to your MetaMask wallet and start interacting with the DeFi application we will go to the app Agave.
Agave is a decentralized, non-custodial money market and borrowing-lending protocol. Users can interact with the protocol by depositing liquidity or by providing collateral and taking out loans. Although Agave is a fork of Aave, a popular lending protocol running on Ethereum main net, Agave has been deployed on xDai – an Ethereum-based sidechain that uses a Proof-of-Stake mechanism.
Once you are on Agave, it will automatically ask you to connect your wallet. Click on MetaMask, and on “connect”. If you are on the xDAI Network, you need to click on xDAI chain which will allow you to add a new network. The last step is to switch the network, and now you can use Agave Network on xDAI chain.
